Welcome
The European Centre for Byzantine and Post-Byzantine Monuments (EKBMM) was established under Law 2557/97 and is a legal entity of private law overseen by the Hellenic Ministry of Culture. Its headquarters are in Thessaloniki.
The aim of the Centre is to promote scientific research in the fields of museology, museography, excavation, restoration, conservation, enhancement and study of Byzantine and Post-Byzantine sites, monuments and works at a European and international level.
